Andreas Krüger, known professionally as Der Dritte Raum, is an electronic music producer with 25 years of experience creating influential techno and electronic compositions. Son of musical parents, he studied physics while developing his passion for synthesizers and electronic sound design. He discovered techno in the early 1990s, recognizing it as the perfect fusion of his two passions: music and technology. His artistic philosophy emphasizes musical innovation: Commercial music has a very narrow horizon. It is important for me to make music that can be played with other tracks without copying other ideas or sounds. With over a dozen albums and nearly thirty records/EPs, Der Dritte Raum continues performing live with synthesizers, computers, and effects equipment.
